Travel Insurance Startup Blink to Enter Canada
Remember Blink? The insurtech startup that has been acquired by CPPGroup, a British company selling life assistance products, before it has even entered the market? Well, it is now entering Canada with the guidance of Red Consulting. The startup will introduce its flight delay interruption service where a passenger can purchase their product via their travel provider, and in the event of a flight cancellation or delay, be able to rebook a new flight at no extra cost. “Red Consulting is delighted to partner with Blink; we have a great combination of travel industry experience in Canada and Europe, a strong understanding of Canadian travelers needs and a passion for positive change!” – President at Red Consulting Services Inc., Gary Andrews.
PS. Know who else is in Canada? Newish entrant ProNav, which offers chatbot solutions to insurers.
And thank you to Sitata’s Adam St. John for bringing this to our attention.
