Refresher: Getsurance is a Berlin-based insurance startup that launched its fully digital disability insurance (BU) in June 2017, with Squarelife as its insurer and RGA as its reinsurer. It has raised ~$2.7M in two rounds of funding and is led by Viktor and Johannes Becher. Also, it plans on expanding to life and care insurance.

Btw, Kathrin Sühlse, who at one point was responsible to develop and implement the startup’s content and SEO strategy, is now working for fairr.de, a digital provider of pension products.

Bottom Line: a young company that takes “constructive criticism seriously.”
