A change of heart?

In 2015, Metromile and Uber announced a partnership that enabled Metromile to insure Uber drivers in select states by distinguishing between miles driven with Uber and miles driven for personal use; the latter were miles Metromile charged for. That was then. This is now. Quoting from Metromile’s FAQ page: “We are unable to insure vehicles on a ridesharing platform (e.g. Uber or Lyft). Our pay-per-mile insurance product is only intended for low-mileage drivers since the bill is based on how much you drive.” Moving on. Here’s an updated spreadsheet on ridesharing coverage by insurer, by state.
