A Short-Lived Experiment Called Rainvow

In August 16, 2016, Rainvow was in private beta looking to create a smart contracts platform for parametric insurance built on Ethereum, for a rainy day. Its target audience was those who walk or bike but have to take an Uber ride during rain or snow. Because “this situation typically affects economically this audience”, and “generates more demand for Uber rides”; hence the likelihood of surge pricing.
