Alan Rebrands and Expands

Fresh off the heels of a $45 million Series B funding round, Paris-based Alan rebrands and announces new products.

“Although Alan started with health insurance, its users expect more. The question then arose of how to introduce Alan to go beyond simple health insurance and better present its mission to the general public.”

Established in 2016 by Jean-Charles Samuelian and Charles Gorintin to focus on healthcare, Alan has raised in total $86.5 million and is now a team of over 170 people serving more than 38,000 members.

Also, the company introduced new products targeting the hospitality industry, those in retirement, and public servants.

For the hospitality industry – specifically hoteliers and restaurateurs – it offers a 100% mobile experience for employees who have very little access to a desktop, 100% mobile registration for businesses, and automatic support for portability, which is a big problem for these customers. Additionally it launched two products for employees of hotel and catering called Alan Cerise and Alan Pomma for €30 and €55 per month respectively. The company will pay 50% of the insurance money and employees will pay rest.

Bottom Line: As of today, Alan Health is available for all individuals and not just the self-employed .

P.S. Alan recently launched its first TV ad.
