Recall: In 2016, Albert announced it has raised a $2.5m Seed round for its app that helps users track their everyday budget and spending while also recommending smart financial moves, and allowing users to obtain quotes for life, auto, home and renters insurance.

It has since raised an extra ~$5m, picked up additional insurance partners and is planning a pivot. Albert raised a $5m Series A round back in May. It is now offering life insurance by Legal & General, home and/or renters insurance by Lemonade, GEICO, State Farm and Progressive, and auto insurance by CoverHound. Last, it’s planning to allow users to not only save money, but also invest that money. Get a feel for its app below:

PS. Albert has established Albert Insurance Services, a licensed P&C and L&H insurance agency in 30 states. Bottom Line: part enabler, part intermediary (think: Fair.com, Tomorrow).
