Amelia Has Been Fired

Swedish digital bank Nordnet is ending the work of its AI assistant Amelia due to performance issues, as reported by Dagenst Industri. “We have tried it towards customers, and the response is ok but not overwhelming, so we are choosing to prioritize other things within our AI focus in the short run .” – CEO of Nordnet, Peter Dahlgren.

Developed by NY-based IPsoft, Amelia assists over 50 major companies, Allstate included. “Amelia is quickly becoming an important component of our customer service strategy.
