Catch Raises $5.1M

Catch , the all-in-one savings, investment, and insurance platform for freelancers, has raised $5.1m at a $20.5m post-money valuation co-led by Khosla Ventures, Kindred Ventures, and NYCA Partners, bringing its total funding to date to $8.1m.

Founded in 2016 and led by Andrew Ambrosino and Kristen Tyrrell, Catch offers services in the areas of health insurance, retirement savings, taxes, and personal savings. The startup allows users to find, compare and calculate subsidies for health insurance plans, withhold taxes, save money for different occasions, and open an IRA or Roth IRA. Catch plans to add life insurance and student loan repayment to its platform later this year, and for now it redirects users interested in life insurance to Ladder Life.
