Here’s what you should know. Hubio is a UK-based startup launched in 2016 to provide telematics and usage-based insurance technology solutions to personal and commercial insurance players. For instance, it offers a mobile app that monitors driving behavior, sends driving tips and includes a dashboard that scores drivers.
Also, the startup is part of Watchstone Group that provides technology solutions and services to the insurance, automotive and healthcare industries. Watchstone’s portfolio includes UBI provider Ingenie.
