CSAA Insurance appoints EVP of commercial insurance
CSAA Insurance Group , a AAA insurer, announces the appointment of Julie Brown to the position of executive vice president of commercial insurance.
“Julie has a successful track record of insurance industry leadership and we’re excited to welcome her to help diversify and drive growth for our commercial business,” said Tom Troy, president and CEO at CSAA Insurance Group.
She has more than 32 years of experience in the insurance industry, encompassing commercial and all aspects of the business, including underwriting, operations, product management and distribution. Brown previously served as senior vice president of distribution strategy at IAT Insurance Group, and in diverse leadership roles during her tenure with Safeco Insurance and Liberty Mutual Insurance. She has a BS in managerial economics from the University of California, Davis.
