Democrance Announces Seed Round With Participation From Eos Venture Partners

In May, 2017, Coverager reported that UAE-based microinsurance provider Democrance was in the process of raising funds. Well, consider it done. The two-year-old startup from Dubai is now announcing an $800K Seed Round from several investors including Jabbar Internet Group and Eos Venture Partners, to name two .

 

According to the startup, its platform makes insurance accessible by bringing together insurance and telecommunication companies, to allow users to get access to insurance through their mobile phone, even without having a bank account.
