Engagement health company PreparedHealth raises $4M

Chicago-based two-year-old startup PreparedHealth announced it has raised $4 million following a seed round of $197K that took place last year. The company offers an app called enTouch that connects patients and care providers in a Facebook like setting with the goal of helping peeps recover faster. All this, while being fully compliant with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules as well as the security provisions of the HITECH Act. There’s at least one happy client. BAYADA Home Health Care, the nation’s largest private provider of home-based services has a multi-year strategic partnership in place with PreparedHealth and plans to roll out its product to more than 300 of its locations.
