FRIDAY announces new hires for its management team

Berlin-based digital insurer FRIDAY announced that it hired Nate Glissmeyer as Chief Platform Officer, and Robin Latz, who will manage FRIDAY’s German branch.

Since 2004, Glissmeyer has held various management positions at Amazon Inc. in Seattle and led technology and product teams at the e-commerce giant. Under his leadership as Director of Product Management numerous innovations were introduced into the market and are still used by millions of Amazon customers every day. Most recently, Glissmeyer was Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer on the board of HolidayCheck Group AG in Munich.

Nate Glissmeyer’s activities will focus on the further development of the digital insurance platform and the optimization of the customer experience. In 2020 FRIDAY opened a technology hub in Warsaw under the direction of CTO Tristan Schuler. An experienced team in the Polish capital drives innovations and products in cooperation with the Berlin location. “Over the past four years, FRIDAY has shown how digitalization simplifies and improves the insurance experience for customers. The insurance business economist, Robin Latz, has worked in various positions at Allianz and Zurich Versicherung for over a decade. Robin Latz designed product offerings there and ensured sustainable profitability in the portfolio. Robin Latz will use this relevant experience to lead the German business to profitability by 2025.
