From optOn to optOff

Last year, Atlas Financial announced the availability of optOn , a mobile, on-demand, commercial insurance product for rideshare drivers in Illinois. The idea – micro-coverage for up to 4 hours with a rate that is calculated based on how many miles are driven. In case drivers were still driving after 4 hours, they were able to renew coverage.

Fast forward and the pilot has ended. Folks visiting the website are greeted with the following message: “Insurance with optOn is unavailable while we analyze the data we’ve collected and prepare optimizations and enhancements.”
