HDI Embedded partners with WINDTRE and Wefox

HDI Embedded, the subsidiary of HDI offering embedded insurance solutions, is working with German insurance startup Wefox and Italian telecommunications company WINDTRE, to provide protection for household appliances and electronics.

The new extended warranty offering starts at €4.99 per month.

Last year, WINDTRE partnered with Wefox for the sake of introducing insurance products to its customer base.

“We are thrilled to be working with Wefox and WINDTRE as part of this important partnership for telecommunications and insurance alike. This collaboration lies testament to how digital insurance solutions are set to lead the insurance market in the new embedded finance era. The ability to tailor products and services is central to innovation and will improve the customer experience. For businesses, the opportunities are just as prominent; by opening new revenue streams and increasing customer touchpoints, affinity insurance programs are now forming part of robust business strategies.” – Nelson Castellanos, Chief Partnerships Officer, International at HDI Embedded.

“Within our affinity partnership strategy, we aim at selecting and integrating the best insurers for each product we launch. This is precisely what we are doing with HDI Embedded as part of the partnership with WINDTRE. This new offering marks yet another proof point for our distinctive Wefox Affinity value proposition. We welcome HDI Embedded as a partner, as our teams speak the same language when it comes to the advanced and innovative technology for serving customers.” – Fabrizio Scornavacchi, Segment Leader Telco, Utilities & Financial Services at Wefox.

“This strategic partnership is an integral part of both meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations and providing best-in-class insurance coverage. The purpose of the collaboration is to build and customize products to be closer and closer to families’ daily needs. We’ve already seen impressive success, and in February we will be enabling access to the product on-line too.” – Fabio Ariolli, Energy & Insurance manager of WINDTRE.
