Julian Teicke leaves CEO role

Julian Teicke, the co-founder and CEO of German insurance startup Wefox, is leaving his role as CEO and will become a non-executive president.

“After several months of reflections I have decided to transition to the president role in the board of Wefox,” Teicke posted on LinkedIn. “It is the best way for me to continue provide strategic guidance while at the same time allocating more time to helping founders build the next wefoxes in their respective sectors. My passion is wefox and my passion is building.”

Mark Hartigan is replacing Teicke as CEO. His past roles include CEO of LV= and head of operations for Europe Middle East and Africa at Zurich Insurance Group.
