Livelii is targeting freelancers

Livelii, the new Canadian startup targeting freelancers, is looking to address several challenges this group faces at once by offering a platform that brings together invoicing, payments, and benefits such as paid time off and health and dental coverage.

Livelii gives freelancers a tool to create estimates and invoices, and once an invoice is sent to a client, it helps with collecting and processing the payment while setting aside a portion to go towards the different benefits, which are offered by Manulife.

The startup features two paid plans and the only difference is that one gives freelancers the option to put $10 a month for benefits, as getting enrolled in the health and dental coverage requires freelancers to have 12 months of estimated premium in their Livelii accounts.

Livelii was cofounded by Adam Roach and Anya Switzer and according to its site, the startup is part of Techstars.
