Monese partners with Qover

UK-based online banking platform Monese has partnered with Qover to launch new insurance to protect customers bills and purchases amidst pandemic.

Bill Protection automatically provides coverage for monthly regular bills in case of accident, sickness or involuntary unemployment, while Purchase Protection offers theft and accident insurance on debit card purchases, including electronic devices such as mobile phones. Both products are built into Monese’s accounts in the UK and are automatically available without any further action required from the customer. Claims can be submitted directly in the app.

Monese also launches a new paid plan to consumers in the UK, the Essential plan. The new plan is Monese’s best value plan to help customers manage bills with automatic built-in BillProtection. On this plan, customers can get up to £200 per month for 3 months to cover regular bills like insurance premiums, rent and utilities, and more, plus cover of £15 a day for hospital stays of up to 30 days.
