Netradyne raises $150 million

San Diego-based fleet technology company Netradyne  has raised $150 million in a Series C funding round led by SoftBank Vision Fund.

Founded in 2015, Netradyne (a team of ~234) is known for its fleet safety platform Driveri that captures and analyzes 100% of driving time, identifying areas for improvement as well as driver recognition opportunities. Driveri has 4 HD cameras that give it a road-facing view, a driver-facing view, and a side-view. All in all, this gives the system a 270-degree coverage to recognize good driving habits and not just road incidents.

Earlier this year, Netradyne partnered with Amazon to install its hardware and software in its delivery vehicles.

“This investment by SoftBank solidifies our global marketplace leadership position in fleet safety technology. With this new infusion of capital, we will invest even more deeply into advanced AI technology and accelerate our international and India market expansion. We will also utilize bulk of our funding on hiring top-notch talent in India which accounts for two-thirds of our 300 strong global employee base.” – Netradyne CEO Avneesh Agrawal.
