Qover targets Tesla drivers

Qover has partnered with insurer Helvetia and claims management company Van Ameyde and is now offering InsureMyTesla, a car insurance program for Tesla owners.

There are three insurance options available: ‘Essential,’ ‘Preferred,’ and ‘Complete.’ ‘Preferred’ and ‘Complete’ plans, for example, include ‘Glass Cover Plus’ and coverage for charging equipment.

“We are very excited to launch InsureMyTesla across Europe and put our stamp on the electric car market. This European solution is a major programme that once again positions Qover as a trusted partner for disruptive tech players.” – Qover Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer Jean-Charles Velge.

In the past, Tesla offered its InsureMyTesla program in partnership with AXA in Hong Kong, and QBE in Australia. Today, the program is offered in partnership with Liberty International Insurance . Similarly, InsureMyTesla in the US redirected shoppers to Liberty Mutual.
