Here’s the down and dirty on why USAA is a digital leader:

  • It offers a virtual assistant to activate banking
  • It offers face, voice and fingerprint recognition
  • It works with Apple and Android Pay
  • It launched a new tool called “Rent or buy?” that issues a verdict on whether the user should buy a home or keep renting
  • It recently added a new feature called Specs to its home-buying app, Home Circle, that lets the user walking down the street see information about houses for sale in the area
  • It recently built a handoff feature that provides a USAA CSR enough intel to know what the user wants to do when he/she clicked the ‘contact us’ feature from their mobile device
  • It had its app available for Apple Watch on launch day
