Uber Health partners with Chapter

Uber Health, Uber’s unit which focuses on the healthcare sector, is partnering with Medicare startup Chapter Medicare.

As part of the partnership, Uber Health will offer a 6-month free trial of Uber One to consumers who use Chapter’s benefit navigation resources or services, irrespective of Medicare enrollment or eligibility status.

Uber One is a subscription option which offers exclusive benefits on rides and orders with Uber that costs $9.99/month.

“Whether it’s a ride to the pharmacy or grocery delivery, supplemental benefits help patients lead healthier lives. Our collaboration with Chapter is designed to ensure these benefits go as far as possible. Together, we can help older Americans avoid stressful gaps in coverage, expand the value of their existing benefits, and get the care they need when they need it.” – Caitlin Donovan, global head of Uber Health.

“Chapter’s mission is to set a new standard for Medicare and retirement support. We help consumers not only navigate Medicare to maximize coverage, but also access other high-quality offerings for their everyday needs in retirement. Teaming up with Uber Health unlocks a nationwide transportation and merchant network to help consumers easily access the rides, groceries, and over-the-counter items they need to meet their individual health needs in an affordable way.” – Cobi Blumenfeld-Gantz, co-founder and CEO of Chapter.
