Unfortunately, the AXA Drive Coach is No Longer Supported

In April 2015, AXA announced its Apple Watch Drive Coach mobile app, “a mobile application available to all drivers to help them analyze, understand and improve their driving behavior and style.” The Idea – an app that connects with a user’s Apple Watch to provide a driving score at the end of one’s journey to allow the user to better understand his/her driving behavior.

That was then. “We are delighted to be able to offer innovative prevention services in a timely manner, in this case right at the launch of the Apple Watch. We strongly believe leveraging innovative digital tools is key today in efficiently engaging people to promote road safety, as these tools significantly raise their awareness of potentially risky driving habits. We look forward to working with Apple to make AXA Drive Coach available on the Apple Watch in many more countries.” – Chief Marketing and Distribution Officer, AXA Group, Frederic Tardy.

This is now. Frederic Tardy is currently the CMO at Zurich, and the Drive Coach app has been removed from the App Store.

And while on the subject of defunct apps – add Flo to the list.
