BMU and Drone insurance: No Longer a Match Made in Heaven
“BMU (Back Me Up) will no longer be able to cover drones under either Fully Flex or Core Cover. We haven’t made this decision lightly – we’ve explored other options, however for us to continue insuring drones currently we would‘ve had to increase prices for all our members – which we don’t want to do! So from today we won’t be covering drones – for the time being.”
That’s the opening of a blog post published on Sep. 20, by Back Me Up, the trading name of Ageas that was launched to offer a mobile app to allow customers under the age of 50 to insure up to three key items.
