Employers announces departure of chief information officer

EMPLOYERS , a regional workers’ compensation insurer based out of Reno, announced the departure of Jeffrey C. Shaw, the insurer’s EVP, Chief Information Officer via an 8k filing yesterday. The insurer added that this move was an “involuntary termination.”

As a result, Shaw is eligible to receive the applicable severance benefits under certain conditions.

Shaw joined Employers in June 2017 as the insurer’ vice president for application development and data and integration to deliver solutions that ensure compatibility and integration with company strategies and business plans while continuously improving the applications development, data and support processes.
